Letterkenny’s name comes from the Irish "Leitir Ceannain" meaning Hillside of the O’Canainn clan, the earliest recorded overlords of this Swilly region. Letterkenny is now the largest town in Donegal in the north west of Ireland. The recent growth and development in the region meant that Mercedes were looking to modernise & re-develop the Mercedes dealership, Tony Kelly Car Sales.

C3imaging Dublin installed a range of new external signage from branded directional signage to flag poles. The full project involved the installation all of the external signage in this new and prestigious dealership to the region. The installation involved a 6.5 meter pole sign, various external fascia signs from 4 meters to 6 meters in length, directional signage and flags.

Prior to the project commencement, a site survey of the location was carried out to determine signs positions, fixing points and additional materials required. An aluminium framework had to be installed for the fascia signage to ensure a flush and safe installation. Adaptations had to be made to the pole sign on site to fit the base cage installed and this was all accomplished within the scheduled install time. All the work was produced while carefully adhering to the Mercedes Benz brand imagery according to their stipulated guidelines.

The overall success of the project meant that the exterior branding will be rolled out over a number of sites during the year.
